I saw it on the internet,
was sent for me to see.
A message that gave me some hope
and given just for me.

It stated how conniving was
the devil in his way,
and how he tricks our minds to feel
that we’re not led astray.

He’s very sneaky how he leads
us down his evil path.
Though we don’t know it at the time,
we’re headed toward his wrath.

He sugar coats his messages
and sweetens up his lies,
’til we believe all that he says
and for him we would die.

He brings us wolves dressed up as sheep
and lets them run amok,
they promise us their hidden lies
and ways to change our luck.

But we have God upon our side
the devil does forget,
and He does not let go of us,
His plans are truly set.

For inside all His loving lambs
who follow at His feet,
are lions holding him at bay,
controlling evil’s heat.

    Hi Barb

Yes he is a bad one. He makes it easy for weak people to join him and then tortures them to do his bad deeds. Nice poem and very true.

    Hi Barb

Fantastic work and a very rhythmical piece that sends a thorough and clear message to the reader.

The devil is a cunning thing that will trap us if he can, that’s for sure. We need to always be on guard against him.

    Great again, my friend.

    Hello, Barb

Wow, that’s a powerful message and one that rings very true with me. Another beautifully written poem with great rhymes and rhythm.

It’s a darn scary thought though when we stop to think about it.

    Well done

    Willy
