One fine and sunny day I took a little stroll
not knowing if I’d spot a rabbit or a mole.
I like to watch those little creatures scurrying about
up and down their paths on their daily route.

But on this day I was in for quite a shock
I saw a shiny green frog jumping in a sock.
I held the sock and he got out to live his life again
I wondered who put him there; they are not his friend.

I’m so pleased the frog was freed! What a lovely story in a poem, (my favourite types) I could just picture this in a little picture book for children. I can see the little frog’s eyes peeping out, and then hopping out once he was able. Well done, this was a lovely poem that put a smile on my face. Sandra xx

Like the rhymes! Yeah, put him in a sock. Maybe the frog was a sick joke. A little boy put the frog in his sister’s Christmas stocking. Hehehe 😈. What a brat! Keep on posting!

Excellent in a story-telling tale such as this and showing the wonder in Nature, as well as being a carer for those creatures in distress. A winsome, charming story. A pleasant read.

      Hi Denis

Thank you again for another fantastic review. I love that word “winsome,” but I must admit that I had to google the meaning lol.

I’ve sent you a friend request and look forward to catching up with you.
